Finally made it to the Scooter shop. They guy working could not have been more helpful and informative. But, after further consideration, there are a few things holding me back from pulling the trigger on this purchase.
1. it rains alot in cleveland
2. i've never ridden one, not sure how much i will actually like it
3. the scooter is step one, then you need a helment., jacket, licence, insuramce, drving classes, and more....im not sure i am ready to commit to that especially for something i am not even sure i am going to like
4. i cant decide on a color, sounds silly but for some reason i am being extremly indecisive.
5. it does get 100 mpg, and my suv gets 17mpg- but i am stilling thinking i'm going to get a new car next year, and i have not decided what that is going to be yet. as much fun as the scooter is, spending a min of 3K on a something that i can only use 3- maybe 4 months out of the years seems silly, it could be putting that to the new car.
...now comes the new car? i like my nissan x terra, it has been relaibel, it has had no major issues, however for an suv i dont think it is the best car i have ever driven in snow and it has about 72K miles on it.....so it is getting to the point where some major rroutine maintence is going to have to happen if i am going to keep it....then i look at other options....i have always wanted a convertavble, and the mini cooper is stealing my heart. But then the SMART car will be available here next year. Which i have been lusting after since my frist trip to europe in 2000. But if i got one of those, i will still need something to transport me to my winter time addiction- the ski hill! many trip through blizzardsthrough western NY have made me swear i will always have a 4- wheel drive. Then the idea that i have been toying with since i was 16 pops in to my head. the best of both worlds, a 4 wheel drive convertable! JEEP Wrangler! i love them. however they have a downside, gas milage is not that sweet, and you its hard to hear on your cell phone.

i have often struggled with what to do with this thing. I am not really a writer, i am honestly more of a talker. i struggled with what to write about. so now i am going to give this another try and maybe this will be at least somewhat interesting.....
here we go...
for years i have been intrigued and tempted by scooters. several trips to europe specifically italy always leave me saying "i want one" and a smart car but that will come later. so the quest begins...after all why not? I can afford one, its actually warm enough in cleveland to drive one, the price of gas sucks - i would get 80-100mpg ( i do need to figure out the break even point), i can get cute accessories -as my mother says " you are all about teh stuff that goes with it", i made friend with some motorcycle people who I can ride with- however my little scooter will look silly next to their crotch rockets, and i do want a jet ski- but i think i will use this more.
so i am looking a few models and have done some research and there happens to be a scooter shop in good ole cleve-berg http://www.clevelandscooters.com/
I'd like to get a vespa but 6K is not quite what i want to spend right now
Genunine Scooters makes Buddy that is pretty cute http://www.genuinescooters.com/buddy.html i can get a 125cc for about $2300 maybe?
there is also the yamaha vino http://www.yamaha-motor.com/sport/products/modelhome/150/0/home.aspx with very simialr specks and about the same price. I think the buddy might be lower. I need to consider that since i am only 3 apples high like smurf.
there is there is a random guy who lives down the street from me. kinda shady, but claims to be opening a scooter shop in the wood in a few months and has these off brand chinese scooters. i can get one of those for $1250.
so the quest begins. i should probaly study for the test so i can get my temp, but the shopping around part sure is fun.

my company has split corporate and the search firm. I am part of corp so i am mvoing out. but it can't come soon enough. In case you don't know that much about me, i work the island of misfit toys. It is a interesting group of characters who all have an even more interesting story or ism to them. mostly many of them annoy the crap out of me on a daily basis. we are schedule to separate feb 1
so dorkle came up with this game...why don't you keep track of who annoys you most between now and then, like a horse race. so the race has begun. we have 6 contestants. All have a code name and it has been abreviated. participants earn a mark or space on the graph chart by annoying me, although what makes it exciting, is that they can fall back in the race by being good and not annoying me. One participant, owes me an appology, evryday that goes by without teh applogy, she moves forward a space. Please note she does annoy me as well so she can pick up points there too.

I am so spoiled. Dorkle has turned into quite the little chef! she has been making amazing things lately. wow! i have not been giving her the credit she deserves. she has been putting together stuffi never thought would go together well or taht i would even eat.
it all else fails for dorkle, she cousl have one amazing little cafe! hehe although, if she did i bet i soudl no longer get spoiled by the amazing dishes she creates.

agin it was broken into! rat bastards! they stole some cd's and god only knows what else....waiting for my insurce guy to calll me. dorkle had ot tak em e to work. i feel violated! seriously there is nothing worst stealing in my car, stop breaking into it!
seriously they stole home made burt cd's. an sdbust out another window and croacked some pastic trim! this is twice in like 30-40 days i think my insurance ompnay is going todrop me!
so i have a broken flipper and a broken ship.

conf calls. one i hate them and meetings, but this is not my point, my point is taht peopel need to use their mute. i am currently on s call right now, and some guy is breathing so gross. it seriosuly sounds like he might be pleasurin himself, it has not however escalated but it is a gross constant breathing. edit i did no think it coudl get worse.... but the midget of munchinkin land is walking aroudn flossing his teeth while on this call, sick. seriosly maybe do that in the bathroom... am i wierd b/c i think this is absolutley disgusting?

back. today is friday. i took an unfortunate leave of absence from my LJ sorry. mayeb you missed me.... i am playing the waiting game today and it is killing me. waiting fro popel to make fricken decisions on new jobs. i feel liek saying just shit up, quit being a painin the ass and take them already! I have been very stressed at work this week. sorry dorkle i have been coming hoem late and proccupied. i really do like hwat i do, i jsut don't always like everything about it.
